Nice - Sunshine, flowers and more delicious food

A spot of shopping at the very small Galleries Lafayette in Nice. The site of an unfortunate dog poo incident, which Chris would rather not talk about!
Olive oil tasting at AL'Olivier - one of France's finest olive oil producers
Sunbaking is very popular here!
View over the main beach in Nice
The strawberries in France are amazing!
Picnicking on the beachfront (with stuff we bought at the local food markets)
Old Nice - up ahead are the steep steps to the Colline de Chateau - a big park overlooking the ocean. We didn't quite make it up there.....
The Promenade Anglaise which runs parallel to the main beach in Nice
Chris checking out some meat at the famous Cours Saleya food market in Nice
The Cours Saleya market also incorporates a  massive flower market
Outside our hotel in Nice - which was lovely, but at the top of a hill, so a bit of a hike
Socca - a specialty in Nice. Consists of a chickpea crepe-like base and comes with a variety of toppings. It might not look particularly appetising in the pic, but it was delicious!
The menu (that we couldn't read) in our first dinner in France at Le'Atelier
Wonderful view over Nice from our hilltop hotel
